What Is Wellness Coaching?
Professional coaches have long been recognized for their ability to help athletes and executives alike perform at their very best. Professional wellness coaches use a similar methodology to help their clients attain optimum health and wellbeing.
Because we work closely with clients to develop and implement your own personal wellness plan, you will quickly identify incremental behavioral steps that bridge the gap between the person you are and the person you deeply desire to be.
How can you benefit from coaching?
How many times have you participated in a seminar, took notes and then put them in a drawer, never to be put to good use? How many times have you started a diet or exercise plan but lost interest or motivation to continue?

What coaching is not:
Coaching is not therapy or counseling, which tend to focus on feelings related to past events and processing such feelings. Coaching is oriented towards visioning and goal setting. Coaching encourages you to actively move forward in pursuit of your dreams and your goals.
As Your Wellness Coach I will:
- Meet you where you are today, while leading you steadily toward your goals for tomorrow
- Guide you through specific practices that will transform your outlook and build your confidence
- Help you identify the deeper reasons that underlie your desire for greater health and well being, while reconnecting you with your body’s innate ability to achieve balance
- Support you in setting SMART, realistic goals – small victories that will strengthen your belief in yourself and increase your ability to achieve your vision
- Keep you on track and act as your accountability partner.
- Champion you when you succeed and guide you to more resourceful strategies when you fall off track
- Show you how obstacles can become valuable opportunities for learning and growth, and how to harness all your resources – both inner and outer – in order to overcome them.
- Work closely with you to establish support structures that will increase your efforts to create greater health and well being.
Personal trainers teach people how to exercise their body in order to improve their overall well being. Wellness coaching takes this concept a step further by recognizing that other areas of life outside of fitness and nutrition can and do affect our overall level of health and well-being.
